What I did to get it working: 1- Close Safari 2- Close Evernote 3- Remove the Evernote Web Clipper application. If they had a similar function in the Notes app it wouldn’t be so bad but I use OneNote for saving stuff from the web (eg recipes) so basically I can’t do this anymore.
Why Has Apple Suddenly Decided To Ban the Use Of One Note Web Clipper? Having just installed the latest version of Safari the OneNote web clipper can no longer be used. However, looking at the Extensions pane in Safari Preferences, the EN Web Clipper version is listed as 7.12.3. Weirdly, the EN Web Clipper app in my Applications folder comes up as version 1.0.5 in the 'Get Info' dialog. Have deleted and reinstalled the Web Clipper extension several times with no change.
